Frequently asked questions

How do I make a booking?

You can book directly through our website by clicking on 'Book Now' or follow the link to our Airbnb website.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major debit card payments through our carrier Stipe or bank transfer. Payment details will be provided during the booking process.

How many people can you accommodate?

Annie's place can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people and 1 baby in travel cot.

Is a deposit required to secure my booking?

Yes a 10% deposit is required at the time of booking for bookings over 8 weeks away (unless you choose to pay in full). The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival, we will send a reminder by e-mail 7 days before it is due.

Do you charge a breakages deposit?

We’re phasing out our breakages deposit. If you’ve already paid one, rest assured it will be refunded in full after your stay, as per our usual process. For all new bookings, there is no deposit required — we simply ask that you let us know if anything gets damaged so we can put it right.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that sometimes plans change. Here's how our cancellation policy works:

  • If you cancel more than 8 weeks before your arrival, we’ll keep your deposit.

  • If you cancel between 4 and 8 weeks before, you're liable for 50% of the booking cost.

  • If you cancel less than 4 weeks before, you're liable for the full amount.

That said, we’ll always do our best to re-let your dates. If we manage to rebook them (ideally at the same price), we’ll refund you minus a small 5% admin fee and any difference in price if we had to reduce it to fill the gap.

For example:
If your stay cost £1,000 and we re-let it for £950, you'd get £900 back (£1,000 minus £50 admin fee and £50 price difference).

We aim to send any refund due within 14 days of the original check-in date being re-let.

We’ll always be fair — we just ask that cancellations are made in good faith, as late changes can be tricky to recover from, especially at short notice.

What time is check in and check out?

Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am. Please let us know if you require different times, if we are able we will do our best to accommodate you.

How do I collect the keys?

We operate a flexible, self check in, we will provide the details of this in your confirmation e-mail.

What amenities are provided?

Annie's place includes Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, linen, towels, beach towels, and enough tea, coffee, milk and toilet rolls to get you through the first few days.

Is there parking available?

Yes there is off road parking right next to the cabin with enough space for 2 vehicles.

Is the property pet-friendly?

Yes we love our four legged friends and accept up to 3 house trained, well behaved medium sized dogs (more if discussed with us in advance).
